Gormack is a great, professional teacher and dancer. His style is unique and based on harmonies. I learned from him a lot about body positioning, leading. Believe me I am very fussy about teachers and can travel to Milan, Paris to have a good quality class. I very appreciate that we have him in Manchester. Other teachers put students into practice to believe that it will help them to reach a certain results, when in fact, they will be applying self-suggestion more than getting direct or actual results. Gormack will tell you when you are wrong and he won’t be gentle about that, sometimes his jokes can be difficult to our ego but I came to his classes to learn. I can’t get it from other “teachers”. He has a lot to offer. I strongly recommend to everyone who wants to progress in a short time

There are good classes in and around Manchester, but Gormack’s class or should I say salsa family is great. His classes are energetic, fun and challenging. No matter how long you’ve danced, you’ll learn something new. There’s so much more I could say, but I’d rather people come to his class, and experience it for themselves. One love Mr G.👊🏾

What an amazing teacher and dancer! my journey with Gormack started just before lockdown and he saved my sanity with his online zoom classes during it, they were the highlight of my week and kept me going. He was so determined and passionate that as soon as it was allowed he found a car park for us all to meet and dance footwork classes in. I will never forget the feeling of that first outdoor class where we all met up properly for the first time with the sun setting and 'mercedes' playing.. what a feeling that was!
Since then I have attended his Monday classes and I can't recommend them enough. The footwork class is my favourite and his attention to detail is superb he somehow can pick up on every individual's body positioning and help you to correct it. My confidence has grown so much it is unbelievable, and I leave every class feeling lighter and energised. Having been to many classes over the last 16 years with some excellent teachers I totally recommend Gormack's if you want to progress to the next level.

I started Gormack classes a couple of years ago now and at first I was way out of my depth with the footwork, the reason I’ve got better is the way he teaches. Not only does he explain the movement of dance but takes you through the musicality and breaks down counts. I highly recommend you giving it a good try don’t give up after the first couple of classes because I found the more you do the less inhibited you get., it’s also is a great warm up for the second partnerwork lesson.
They are amazing, a combination of techniques, moves and fun. You won’t realise what a good teacher Gormack is until you try some lessons.

Gormack is a great teacher. He is casual yet teaches perfectly. I could never see myself learning salsa if not for him and his class. He can teach for multiple levels and is very patient. 5/5

Gormack is one of the best salsa teachers I've had. He really focuses on technique, showing you not just how to do the moves but how to do them well. I'm really glad I found this class!

I used to hear about this legendary teacher. For a while I was avoiding salsa for various reasons though I did attended some classes.

When I started to attend Gormack classes, he corrected quite some of my mistakes that I picked up as wrong habbit without even knowing it. He will point out what needs to be pointed out!

Now I love salsa!

I love that Gormack focuses on technique. He wants as to understand salsa, not just learn some moves. Basics is foundation of everything. Gormack is really knowledgeable with great past experience and his humour will make you smile. And I absolutely love that before we start partner work, we do footwork.

After trying a few different classes in Manchester, I tried Gormacks. His is definitely my favourite that I’ve tried. The choreography is always interesting, the vibes are good and Gormack is a very passionate teacher who wants people to really learn to dance and enjoy themselves. Definitely recommend!
